Dr. Andrew Saleh, MD, MPH
Dr. Andrew Saleh is board-certified in Family Medicine and fellowship trained and board-certified in Sports Medicine. He is currently the Head Medical Team Physician for the AHL San Diego Gulls, IFL San Diego Strike Force and was part of the medical team for the NFL San Diego Chargers and NFL Baltimore Ravens.
A native of Los Angeles, he completed his undergraduate training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience. He obtained his Medical Degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, where he also received a Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree. After attending medical school he completed his Family Medicine residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey, and had the honor of serving as Chief Resident. After residency he completed advanced training in Sports Medicine at the University of Maryland, where he served as Team Physician for the University of Maryland Terrapins and the NFL Baltimore Ravens.
During his career he has maintained a passion for providing quality care in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He is dedicated to building long-lasting relationships with his patients and providing individualized medical care.
Dr. Ned Chambers, MD
Dr. Ned H. Chambers, MD is board certified Family Medicine Physician. He attended Stanford University on a football scholarship from 1969-1973. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Medical School.
Dr. Chambers is a local native, growing up in Point Loma and attending Point Loma High School. After completing his undergraduate training at Stanford University, he attended the University of Cincinnati where he obtained his Medical Degree. He completed his residency training in Fresno, CA and returned home to Point Loma where he founded Shelter Island Medical Group. Throughout his career Dr. Chambers has maintained a desire to provide quality and affordable care to the community and greater San Diego.
Dr. Chambers professional activities include: San Diego Academy of Family Physicians; former President, Chief of Staff, Harbor View Hospital; and California Medical Association delegate.
