Dr. Andrew Saleh, MD is fellowship trained and certified in Primary Care Sports Medicine. Dr. Saleh has been part of the medical team for the NFL San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens, and is currently the head Medical Team Physician for AHL San Diego Gulls, Major League Rugby San Diego Legion, and USL San Diego Loyal Soccer Club. He offers the region's best in Sports Medicine, utilizing the latest in medical technology. However, services are not only for top athletes! Shelter Island Medical Group offers you the same resources that we offer to some of the country's best athletes, and we are only a phone call away. The nonsurgical treatment that our primary care sports medicine specialist is using to address injuries and overuse conditions are aimed at reducing recovery time and returning athletes back to their sport quickly and safely.

Shelter Island Medical Group is proud to offer Telemedicine services! See the doctor at the comfort of your own home through your laptop, tablet, or cell phone. If needed, the provider can e-prescribe medication directly to your choice of pharmacy.

Shelter Island Medical Group provides full spectrum occupational health services, including Worker’s Compensation injuries, Pre-Employment and DOT/DMV physicals, return to work/ Fit for duty clearance, DOT drug testing, Commercial and Recreational Dive Physical, and Coast Guard / Merchant Mariner Physicals.
